Favorite Candy: Reese's & Peanut M&M's

Favorite Quote: "Never Let the Fear of Striking Out Keep You From Playing the Game!"

Favorite DBS Memory: My favorite memory of DBS happen at convention in 2014. On Free Day, the Board had planned a super special outing for us at a beautiful tea house. I absolutely love fancy tea's and cute sandwich places. When we got to the tea house, the lady asked us if we were celebrating anything special, but everyone but me stayed silent. Of course being the talker I am,  I gushed on and on about how we are apart of DBS as the board and that we only see each other during convention. I was so excited to be spending time with everyone. After we got our tea and lunch, everyone started smiling really big like they had a secret. The special occasion was actually a surprise college graduation party for me. They gave me a monogrammed makeup bag that I still use to this day! The reason this is my favorite memory is because each board member has a special place in my heart. We all come from different walks of life, but we are our own little family full of love/support!

Favorite candy: dark chocolate

Favorite quote: Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.  Dr. Seuss

About her:I have always enjoyed genealogy.  I learned so much from my grandmothers many years ago and am very thankful.  This summer, my husband and I decided to do the DNA ancestry testing. Mine was pretty close to what I thought. I learned I was 36% Irish, 34% German, and 20% Great Britain.  Much more Irish than I knew but I like that.  With our last name, who would ever have thought my husband would be 51% Irish!  Crazy - yes - now we will need to start celebrating St. Patrick's Day every year!!
