Fun Facts:

Favorite Candy: Peanut M&Ms

Biggest goal for the chapter this year: sisterhood is most important and I hope we keep growing closer and closer together!

Advice to new DBS members: My advice to new members is to always stick with it. Hard work really pays off and it is so worth it!

Favorite DBS Memory: my favorite DBS memory would have to be our formal 2016. While driving down the interstate in the big bus we almost hit a car, had a tiny appetizer size steak, danced for so long we busted a speaker and had to wait an hour for another speaker. Even though we had a couple bumps throughout the night, it was such a fun night and I'm so greatful for the memories that were made that night!

Fun Fact About Yourself: I have been a cheerleader for 11 years and have broke 9 bones all from cheer.

Also, thank you so much to everyone who helped me wheel around on my scooter at convention ❤️ I greatly appreciate all of you!

Officer Spotlight- Harmoni Pearson

Harmoni Pearson is currently serving as the Beta Phi President and has previously served as Convention Chairman. She attends Blackman High School.

Fun facts:

Favorite Candy: Tropical Starburst

Biggest goal for the chapter this year: My biggest goal for this year is to get more of our members involved. In order to do this we have made sure to plan a sisterhood, philanthropy, and a social event each month. In regards to our meetings, our attendance is low so we have added into our By-Laws that unexcused absences are a $5 fine and after 3 excused absences you will be called to standards.

Advice to new DBS members: Have fun. Don't worry about being the shy group of girls in the corner. Put yourself out there and make new friends! We are all sisters now!

Favorite DBS Memory: My favorite DBS memory was convention in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was really nervous because I only really knew a few of the girls because the other officers went to a new school and recently just finished my Pledge term. I got so close with all of the girls that went to convention that year. The best part about convention that year was performing our skit, even though we did it wrong and got 4th place!
